Vapoursense
- VapourSense is a portable custom-designed quadrupole mass spectrometer (QMS) with a membrane inlet. It is used for analysis of vapour samples in air as well as for residual gas analysis. It is ideal for rapid detection of volatile (VOCs) and semivolatile (SVOCs) organic compounds for a range of applications. It can operate in harsh environments with rapid setup and automated tuning.
- VapourSense is an advanced portable quadrupole mass spectrometer (QMS) with up to 500 Da mass range. Its key component is a miniature dual filter quadrupole mass analyser, custom designed to give an extended mass range. This increases the number of applications.
- VapourSense offers extra features such as RF autotuning, a programmable electrometer system and database storage in a number of formats. It is thermally stable with a unique no mass drift. It has a fully featured software suite with networking capabilities. In addition to standard software suite, it offers multi-user features, scripting and analysis suite options.
- VapourSense provides reliable identification of gases and all key VOC-based substances in air. These include vapours of drugs, explosives, human VOCs (breath and bodily fluids), environmental pollutants, etc. Spectra below show detection of methyl benzoate (cocaine simulant), cyclohexanone (C4 simulant), 2-nitrotoluene (TNT simulant) and PFTBA (calibrant).
